Gregory (Greg) Galloway practices in the field of Entertainment
Law with an emphasis on Music, Film and Television representation.
Galloway continues to represent select clients while focusing most
of his energies developing new television projects with i.d.e.a.s.
at Disney/MGM Studios and servicing as Sr. Vice President/General
Counsel with the advertising agency (and "i.d.e.a.s" collaborator),
Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell, LLP. Galloway's current
other clients include Bobby Jones Film, LLC producer of the 2004
feature film, "Bobby Jones: Stroke Of Genius" starring Jim Caviezel
("The Passion Of The Christ") as Jones. Galloway's music clients
have included multi- platinum Lava/Atlantic Recording Artists, "Matchbox
20", Atlantic Artists "Taproot", Michael Andrew's "Swingerhead" and "Madhouse".
He has negotiated true story rights agreements, including the feature
film rights to "Rosewood", 1997 Warner Bros. Motion Picture
directed by John Singleton and produced by Jon Peters and client "Gregory
K.'s" celebrated parental divorce trial that became a CBS Movie-Of-The-Week.
Galloway has been production counsel for such television programs
as "The Mickey Mouse Club", "The Newz" and "Tarzan,
The Epic Adventures", the feature films, "Sacred Seal", "The
Falkland Man" and "Inconceivable" A sole practitioner,
Galloway co-founded the entertainment law firm of Galloway & Qualmann,
P.A. and prior to that Galloway practiced in the Orlando office
of Maguire, Voorhis & Wells. He is a past Chair of the Florida
Bar Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Section and is a founding
member of the Orange County Bar Association Entertainment Law Committee,
which he chaired from 1990-1992. He is a past president of the Orange
County Bar Association Young Lawyer's Section and a member of the
Central Florida Film Council. Galloway obtained his undergraduate
degree from Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina
in 1983 and received his law degree from the University of Florida,
Gainesville, in 1986, where he was Chairman of Moot Court. He studied
music in college, recorded professionally and produced stage productions.
Greg is Co-Executive Producer of "Bobby Jones: Stroke Of Genius" and
Executive Producer of the i.d.e.a.s television special, "Courage Colorado" (Outdoor
Life Network, May 2004). He is the Creator/Executive Producer of the
award winning children's video series, "Camp Tanglefoot",
starring Gregg Russell and distributed by Tommy Nelson. "Camp
Tanglefoot" won an ICVM Crown Award for Best Children's Video
of 1999. |
